The Chairman of M/s Vasudha Foundation Sri Mantena Venkata Rama Raju visited “Prashanthi Vriddhashram in Ramachandrapuram in East Godavari district and personally enquired about the welfare and inspected the facilities. This ashram is adopted by M/s Vasudha Foundation. All members of M/s Vasudha Foundation gathered at the ashram and the chairman had reviewed the services done and to be done. On the same day, a joint meeting was held at CRC old age home with its committee members and members of M/s Vasudha Foundation to review the activities.

A new premise has been taken by M/s Vasudha Foundation on June 08, 2008 at Bhimavaram Town to extend its strength and activities. A Tailoring Training unit has been started on the same day at this premise.

80 students, who are pursuing degree courses, engineering, and intermediate, received financial assistance under Vidya scheme.

60 poor and old aged people received financial assistance under Aasraya scheme to meet their immediate expenses.

Mega medical camp has been organized on July 06, 2008 in Bhimavaram in West Godavari district. Around 2500 were treated in this camp. Medical tests like vision, hearing, blood, x-ray, ECG etc have been conducted and medicines have been distributed under Aarogya scheme. Eminent doctors from Manipal Super Speciality Hospital had come and extended their valuable services at the camp.

103 students, who are pursuing degree courses, engineering, and intermediate, received financial assistance under Vidya scheme at this camp.

9 prominent personalities of the place have been felicitated and old aged people received financial assistance to meet their expenses under Aasraya scheme.

August 08

On August 03, 2008, M/s Vasudha Foundation, under Vidya scheme, extended financial assistance to 85 students who are studying professional courses like engineering, medicine, B.Pharm etc. Hon’ble Minister Mr. Mandala Buddha Prasad and high court retd. judge and red cross society state secretary Sri A.Lakshman Rao and other dignitaries attended this programme.

On Aug 10, 2008, medical camp, under Aarogya scheme, has been conducted at Rajulapalem in Guntur district. 400 people took benefit from this camp. Medicines have been distributed during this camp. Mr. D.Satyanarayana Raju, Mr. D. Anji Raju, Mr. Durga Prasada Raju and other personalities attended this programme.

On August 20, 2008, the Chairman of M/s Vasudha Foundation had unveiled the statue of the great freedom fighter
Sri Alluri Sitarama Raju in Indukuripeta in Devipatnam mandal of East Godavari district. This statue has been donated by M/s Vasudha Foundation.

On August 20, 2008, M/s Vasudha Foundation had inaugurated three semi-furnished medical centres in Rampachodavaram (agency area) in
East Godavari District. As there is no medical facility for the people in this area and there is no proper place even to conduct medical camps,

M/s Vasudha Foundation, under Aarogya scheme, had constructed these hospitals and handed over to Ramakrishna Mission to run these hospitals and to serve the people in this tribal area.

During this tour, the Chairman of M/s Vasudha Foundation had given donation to M/s Janani Institute of Research & Rehabilitation for Mentally Challenged.

M/s Vasudha Foundation has been extended financial assistance to 15 economically backward students for their studies in engineering and medicine under Vidya scheme.

During unexpected floods in this month in Andhra Pradesh M/s Vasudha Foundation, under Akshaya scheme, had distributed food packets in the flood affected areas in Bhimavaram town and in the villages in and around Bhimavaram.

M/s Vasudha Foundation extended financial assistance under Aasraya scheme to poor senior citizens in Bhimavaram town. Food and shelter has been provided to 60 old people in Sayampalem in Bheemadole mandal and in Tokalapalli in Nidamarru mandal.
